Update - one experience shouldn’t downgrade the entire place. Great service every time but once. Get the spinach-get the spinach. Food is good main dining room is better. Service is normally good. Not so tonight-not bad but not good enough for this place. Came back, had the salmon with veggie risotto, salmon with the pistachios on top was really good, the risotto was too sweet, way too sweet.

Being a former food service worker, I expect a lot from staff. Hadley was the perfect waitress. She made our first time experience amazing! Food was superb! Flash fried spinach is amazing as well! Thank you, Hadley!

Wonderful restaurant! Our small group recently dined here following our high school reunion reception and loved every minute of it! Kayla did a wonderful job handling our reservation, the private room was lovely and our server, Kris, was outstanding! The food? Absolutely delicious! Creative entrees, wonderful cocktails, amazing bread, and don’t forget to order the fried spinach for an appetizer!

Several things on the menu sounded unique and delicious! It was a hard choice on the rack of lamb, but it was really good. I worried the mint would overpower, but it was subtle. The risotto was creamy and excellent, and overall great presentation! My husband had been once before with coworkers and really wanted this spicy pizza he previously ordered. I had a bite, and it was delicious! The service was great, and very attentive on filling drinks multiple times throughout the night. There were 2 options of butter/ dipping sauce for bread service that were both great. Our server recommended we put both on at once and that idea was super good. We finished our dinner with a sopapilla cheesecake, and that was also excellent. I can't wait to come back and try all of the other unique things they have on their menu!

We loved our 1st visit to Metropolitan Grill! The atmosphere was fun, our server was awesome, and the food was delicious. Two of us had pizza; the other two had a chicken pamesan dish, and all of it was great. I highly recommend it, but make a reservation! Our visit there was a spur of the moment decision and didn't know a reservation was needed. They were able to get us in, but the next time we visit, we will be sure to reserve a table.

Suggested from the hotel we are staying at. It was perfect. The meal / server (Hadley) was amazing. By all means give it a try.

This was near our hotel and had decent reviews. I recommend it! We had been on the road for ten hours so wanted to relax over dinner. I had the smoked old fashioned which was very good and my wife had the elderflower cocktail which she really liked. The crisps spinach appetizer was a must try. A new taste for us. VG. Crystal took good care of us and was knowledgeable. We had the greenly (or something) pizza. Good crust and the meatballs plentiful and tasty. The other toppings were as well.

Metropolitan Grill in Springfield is fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for any occasion. I had a steak that was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Their drink menu is also impressive, with some really unique cocktails. Definitely a must-visit spot! Can't wait to go back!
